Market Recovery

Signatory contractors have a proven advocate in the marketplace - The Pacific Resource Partnership (PRP). PRP is the joint market recovery program of the Hawai`i Carpenters Union and its signatory contractors. As the country's most advanced market recovery program, PRP enables signatory contractors to compete against non-union bidders, who may offer lower wages, benefits and working conditions to their employees.

The Hawai`i Carpenters Union agreements are crafted with the flexibility to address the bottom-line needs of contractors. For homebuilders, Local 745 provides a Special Residential Agreement with a modified wage and benefits package for qualified union members to enable signatory contractors to more effectively compete for custom home projects.
